Thank you LargePassions for this wonderful website. It allows people who have been hurt, deceived, made to feel worthless and so many other things an opportunity to meet people who are understanding and want the same things out of life. The ability to love and be loved for being wonderful people.
However, I wonder how many on this site actually want to find someone. I see a lot of women putting themselves out there by placing their pictures on the site and opening themselves up by being (hopefully) honest and forthright.
Also, I have written several people emails, and have received no response and not just one or two but several. I can excuse someone by saying that they don't enter this site very much anymore or simply were not interested.
I could except they don't come into the site, but I see some of them online and KNOW they have received their emails.
So, what all of this comes down to is just simple courtesy. Guys, please post your pics or atleast offer to send someone a pic if asked. Second, even if you are not interested, please respond to emails sent. If you use all your emails one day, then try the next to get back to anyone who sends you a smooch or drops you a line.
I love making new friends even if I am not interested in someone for a personal relationship. We could all count ourselves fortunate to allow many into our lives because everyone is worth knowing.
BTW....shhhhh....Does anyone else have a crush on the LargePassions feedback picture...(LOL)

Well... I'm one of those "rude" people who don't respond to every contact that gets made with me. I don't feel it's my obligation to respond just because a stranger contacted me. I get quite a lot of interest on a different site that I'm on and I just don't feel the need to respond to all of them. I will respond if someone sends an email that is different (usually something that makes me laugh) or if they have a really funny profile. I look at it this way, if someone doesn't respond to you, they are making their lack of interest clear. There's really no need to get an email back saying they aren't interested.

When I first joined a dating site online, I would respond to every contact I got and I ended up getting a lot of grief about WHY wasn't I interested, WAS there something wrong with them, blah blah blah, it just opens up a lot of doors for the insecure and plain weird to walk right in. I only respond to those I find interesting, I am grateful to those who do not respond to me unless they are interested, who wants an email explaining why someone is rejecting you? No response is a very direct and efficient way to let someone know you don't want to talk to them. [/b]
